Site feasibility

A clearer path from land to a decision

A feasibility study helps you understand opportunities, constraints and next steps before committing to a development. The investigations and approvals needed depend on your site, proposal and local authority.

01

Share the site

Send the location or erf number, proposed land use, available plans, project timing and your main concern.

02

Agree the investigation

Discuss access, traffic, surrounding roads, servicing constraints and the information required. G2CG confirms the study scope and quotation.

03

Review the way forward

Use the findings to assess options and plan the next design or authority-engagement steps. A study is not an automatic approval.

Before commissioning a study

What should I send for a feasibility quotation?

Your site location or erf number, intended development, available surveys and plans, known constraints and preferred timelines. G2CG will confirm the documents required.

Is a traffic impact assessment the same as a feasibility study?

No. A feasibility study considers whether and how a proposal can proceed. A traffic impact assessment focuses on the transport implications of a development. Your site and authority requirements determine what is needed.

Can I request a quotation outside Gauteng?

Yes. Enquiries are welcome from all nine South African provinces. G2CG confirms site-specific logistics, availability and scope.

Does a study guarantee municipal approval?

No. Decisions remain with the relevant authorities, and additional specialist investigations or applications may be required.
